The high barrier sack has all the benefits of the block bottom sack but is made from an EVOH material.
The EVOH material has high barrier properties to gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and helium. As the EVOH material has a very low permeability to oxygen it prevents goods, mainly foods and pharmaceutical products deteriorating.
