High performance Flexipol capkold or cook-chill bags are used to pack sauces, soups and other liquids and are suitable for use in tumble-chill machines.

Flexipol capkold, cook-chill bags or tumble-chill bags are an innovative solution to the industry standard capkold bags. Featuring a superior strength blend, they are stronger than average capkolds, meaning the thickness can be reduced to 95mu from the standard 120mu without compromising quality.

About capkold and cook-chill bags

Flexipol’s capkold system works by filling the bags with hot sauces and then placing them in a unique tumble chiller to rapidly drop the temperature. It is this process of hot filling, rapid cooling and special packaging which helps stop bacterial growth, locks in freshness and provides a 5–6 week safe refrigerated shelf life. 

Cost saving solution

Our unique blend allows us to be able to reduce the thickness from the industry standard 120mu to 95mu without compromising the bag strength or performance.  

We can provide our capkold bags in a variety of different colours for identification of different products or allergens. 

At Flexipol, we understand the importance of health and safety, which is why we introduced a double weld feature for our capkold bag, for extra security against the spillage of hot or cold liquids.
